The Canadian Rockies are composed of shale and limestone. The Canadian Rockies are bounded on the east by the Canadian Prairies, on the west by the Rocky Mountain Trench , and on the north by the Liard River. Contrary to popular misconception, the Rockies do not extend north into Yukon or Alaska, or west into central British Columbia. If you need the details about yukon, please read the post YUKON
Five national parks are located within the Canadian Rockies, four of which interlock and make up the Canadian Rocky Mountain Parks World Heritage site. These four parks are Banff, Jasper, Kootenay and Yoho.

Wood Buffalo National Park

If u r a wildlife frenzy crazy fan, this summer visit the Wood buffalo national park.
Located in northeastern Alberta and southern Northwest Territories, is the largest national park in Canada at 44,807 km2 (17,300 sq mi). The park was established in 1922 to protect the world's largest herd of free roaming Wood Bison, which are now like 5,000 in population there. Also it is the only nesting site of whooping cranes.

Declared a world heritage site in 1963 it houses the some exotic species of animals and birds.. National Park contains a large variety of wildlife species, such as moose, black bear, wolf, lynx, brown bear, snowshoe hare, sandhill crane, Wood Buffalo, ruffed grouse, and the garter snake, forming famous communal dens within the park.
Wood Buffalo Park contains the only natural nesting habitat for the critically endangered whooping crane. Also known as Whooping Crane Summer Range. The range is a complex of contiguous water bodies, primarily lakes and various wetlands, such as marshes and bogs, but also includes streams and ponds and that is the reason it hosts many bird species here...

Distillery District...

What does Wiki Says :

The Distillery District is an historic and entertainment precinct located east of Downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It contains numerous cafes, restaurants and shops housed within heritage buildings of the former Gooderham and Worts Distillery. The 13-acre district comprises more than 40 heritage buildings and 10 streets, and is the largest collection of Victorian era industrial architecture in North America.

Founded in 1832 it is the world's oldest and one of the largest distillery centre... If you are thinking what is a distillery ... hehehe .. i know u know it... the downtown alcohol plant :D

Though it saw a phase of deindustrialisation and demolitions ..it nonetheless survived to be one of the oldest area where all the english architecture of gargoyles and minarets clearly preserved with the chimneys, boiler houses , rack houses, canary, tankhouses and others...

In the year 2001 ..it was transformed to a cultural heritage centre so that world can see and feel what the 18th century was like...

It is though being developed into a commercial centre yet you can have a feel of the English culture and heritage.. so for that catch the Flights to Toronto and get a feel of the beauty..

Canada

If you are talking about a place where you can feel the snowy flakes and the frozen lakes ..you are talking about Canada .. The world's most exotic country and now very famous for it's winter Olympics.. Contrary to people's common belief the Canada is not like any other snowy country .. it is well managed and with all the amenities that other cities have with snow... It is one of my fav holiday destination..

It was originally inhabited by the Natives before in late 15th Century  British invaded and became the federal dominion for four provinces. Archaeological studies support a human presence in the northern Yukon from 26,500 years ago, and in southern Ontario from 9,500 years ago..

Canada has an extensive coastline on its north, east, and west, and since the last glacial period it has consisted of eight distinct forest regions, including extensive boreal forest on the Canadian Shield. The vastness and variety of Canada's geography, ecology, vegetation and landforms have given rise to a wide variety of climates throughout the country.Because of its vast size, Canada has more lakes than any other country, containing much of the world's fresh water.

For reaching Canada, you can have Flights to Toronto , which is a picturescue city with comparatively larger population than the other sparring Canada....

For next few months we will be concentrating on Canada.. and I will help you find beautiful locations there.. you can visit the links for more details..
